The Dove are dying? A Challenge to Dove Hunting

Dove Hunting in Texas may be a struggle this season.

There have been several reports recently of doves dying.

White wing and mourning dove are hugely popular birds to hunt in Texas.

Texas state biologists report that the cause of the dove deaths is a common parasite called trichomonas gallinae.

Apparently, this is a regular annual occurrence and unless dove are dying in large numbers, it is not a cause for concern.
